La Secretaría de la Universidad del Zulia (LUZ) ofrece una herramienta digital fundamental para la transparencia académica y la validación profesional: el portal de Consulta de Egresados. Esta página permite a cualquier usuario, empresa o institución verificar la autenticidad de los grados académicos otorgados por esta casa de estudios.
¿Qué ofrece este servicio?
El sistema está diseñado para proporcionar una respuesta inmediata sobre la formación académica de un profesional. Sus puntos clave son:
Alcance histórico: La base de datos contiene registros de egresados de Pregrado y Postgrado desde el año 1945 hasta diciembre de 2015.
Facilidad de consulta: Solo se requiere el número de Cédula de Identidad del profesional para realizar la búsqueda.
Datos suministrados: Al realizar la verificación, el portal muestra el nombre completo del graduado, el título o los títulos otorgados y la fecha exacta en la que se recibió el grado.
Gestión para egresados recientes (2016 en adelante)
Es importante notar que el buscador automatizado tiene un límite temporal. Si el profesional egresó a partir del año 2016, la verificación no se realiza a través de la web, sino mediante una solicitud formal por correo electrónico a la Secretaría de LUZ.
Para estos casos, se deben enviar los datos de la empresa o solicitante, junto con la copia del título y los datos del egresado, a la dirección oficial indicada en el portal (marlene.primera@secretaria.luz.edu.ve).
